Cameron Homes - New Homes Collection

Our experience of introducing Arts and Crafts architecture into modern residential development dates back to the late 90’s.

As far back as 2009 we introduced Cameron Homes to this form of architecture in Great Barr, Birmingham and latterly sites in Tamworth, Walsall and Tattenhill.

This style was always well received by both our client and their purchasers with White Ridge being involved in these bespoke but very successful developments.

Inspired by the success of these projects we were instructed by Cameron Homes to embark on a review of their current house type portfolio. This review was to reinforce their brand identity with a style of dwelling which would be distinctive but traditional and stand the test of time.

Collaborating closely with Cameron Homes planning, technical, sales, commercial and production teams we created and evolved a series of house types which had the style and detailing that evoked a modern version of a classical period of architecture.

The house types have recently received planning consent on numerous sites across the midlands with site starts imminent.

“The use of simple but classical detailing combined with a good quality cohesive palette of external materials reinforces the style. Subtle changes in elevation detailing help deliver a sense of lasting tradition and quality”
